What to expect

Stage 2 of the Tour of the Fleurieu: a road race on the Clayton–Milang lake plains, 79.3 km (55 km for the lowest division). Bunch finishes share a time, and the first five get time bonuses.

Riding safely

Three rules for every rider, in every grade and every race:

  • Red flashing rear light on, for the whole race. Drivers see a flashing light long before they see a rider.
  • Never overtake a car, including the follow car of another grade. If a car is ahead of the bunch, the race waits behind it.
  • Stay left of the centre line, at all times, including on corners and in the sprint. The roads are open to traffic.
